SACE Learning
2024 CURRICULUM HANDBOOK
For successful transition into the next year of learning, it is important that students choose an appropriate program of subjects that align with their intended future pathway. Prior to subject counselling, we ask that students inform themselves about subjects on offer. Appropriate advice and guidance on their particular situation will be provided at the subject counselling meeting.
Families are strongly encouraged to attend this meeting as an opportunity for discussion and final approval of student subject preferences.

SACE Learning programs are characterised by individualised Pathway counselling and personalised learning.
SACE students are able to access subjects according to their readiness rather than in terms of their chronological year. This individual readiness can vary across subjects so that a student may be ahead of their peer group in one area while remaining with that group for other subjects.
SACE students can also choose from an extensive range of subjects including Vocational Education and Training (VET) and Community Studies options to achieve the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE). See the School’s website for more curriculum information.
Schools in Southern Adelaide and Fleurieu Peninsula (Public & Private) work together to offer quality vocational training programs for students. . Visit www.safssa.sa.edu.au for more information.
