Poll Outcome

Thank you to the families that responded to the recent polling process. as you would be aware a poll is deemed successful if 51% of the respondents vote yes. This year the result was very positive. As a school we are encouraged to use all communication mediums to ensure parents are aware of the outcome of the poll and hence this blog entry. The last Newsletter of the year also had information and in the New Year you will receive further information with your invoice. For now the result was, as follows;

Year 8/9: = 300 polling slips posted

Total number who responded 89

Voted Yes 56

Voted No 15

Vote Invalid 18

Year 10, 11, 12 = 456 polling slips posted

Total number who responded 94

Voted Yes 62

Voted No 26

Vote Invalid 6

This positive poll now enables the school, in the event of non-payment, to legally recover the prescribed sum of $535 for the Middle school and/or $595 for Senior School students.
