2019 Diversity Week - supporting Kids Helpline

In Week 3 of Term 2, we celebrate the diversity of all students and staff at Victor Harbor High School by hosting a range of fun and inclusive events throughout the week. The aim of Diversity Week is to raise awareness of bullying and discrimination within the school community. There are many different types of bullying including cyber, social, physical and emotional, as well as contributing factors like the ‘bystander effect’.

On Friday 17 May we are hosting a lunchtime open mic session for students to come together, sing and relax and will celebrate our diversity through encouraging students to ‘dress as themselves’ on this day. Uniform is not required, however we do ask students to bring a gold coin donation.

All funds raised will be used to support Kids Helpline https://kidshelpline.com.au/

Should you have any further questions regarding the Program, please contact the school on (08) 8551 1900.
