School Community Garden Project - Thank you Victor Harbor Markets

Huge thank you to Neil Hoskins and the Victor Harbor Farmers Market for their generous donation of $200 towards establishing our school community Earth day garden. This kind donation was used towards an order of 2.5 cubic metres of loam/soil delivered yesterday! 9E have been learning about 'Biomes and Food Security', in class creating their own mini, self-sustaining ecosystem - planting sunflowers, beans and tomatoes and today they raked the garden bed (thanks to Bunnings supplies), shovelled the loam, levelled it and planted their plants - the school garden has officially commenced a productive practical Geography lesson in the sunshine! #VictorHarborFarmersMarket #SchoolGarden #Earthday
